Accommodation

The main accommodation will be provided at the University in King's Hall (the University guesthouse) which has 43 single rooms and 22 twin rooms, all en-suite.

Further en-suite accommodation is available in 76 rooms in Crombie Johnstone Hall - one of the student residences which is on the same site. Less expensive rooms in Crombie Johnstone with shared bathroom/shower facilities are also available. Pleasse note that towels are not provided in the student residences.

All of this accommodation is less than five minutes walk from the Conference Centre. Breakfast is included in the price.

Booking accomodation is separate from registration and is handled through the Aberdeen and Grampian Convention Bureau web site. You will need to enter a PIN: AIME and a Password: ACB10.

Please address any enquiries to the Convention Bureau: Email: convention@agtb.org, Phone: (+44) 1224 288815.

For those who wish to stay in a hotel in the city centre or a guest house near the University, plenty of opportunities exist. Please book directly with the hotel or guest house.

Friday 22nd July:
Those booking for Friday 22nd July will find that the only rooms available for that night at present are the cheaper rooms in Crombie Johnstone (with with shared bathrooms and showers). My apologies, but this is due to the fact that we have extended the conference by one day and a conference taking place the previous week has a prior reservation for the better rooms! If you want a better room for the rest of the stay, you should make two separate bookings - one for the Friday night and one for the remainder. The Convention Bureau will monitor the bookings, and if better rooms become available for the Friday, you will be contacted.
