I am currently working as a Research Fellow working within the dot.rural Digital Economy Research Hub at the University of Aberdeen, working as part of the ASSURE project investigating social networking techniques for enchanting rural enterprise. I am also currently working as part of the ITA project, investigating information sharing and trust in the presence of obfuscation.

Current Interests

My primary interests lie in the area of multi-agent systems, and the issues which surround their application to real-world problems. In particular, I am interested in issues of trust and reputation, argumentation, and human-agent interaction.

Previous Work

Previously, I worked at the Rowett Research Institute, investigating peer-to-peer data sharing strategies for nutrigenomics data. I was involved in a project to look at ways in which data from microarray experiments could be easily and securely shared and processed between institutions.

Other Interests

If I ever find any spare time lying around, I like to spend it playing the drums. I play in an obscure wee local band (when I have time!) and am (as always) trying to learn Polish.
